Job Description:
Position Description:
The Social Organizer (SO) are mainly responsible for mobilizing and establishing the village level Community Organization CRGs/Sub-committees to implement the CRLP components for beneficiary selection and all community level interventions, Complete the village profile/related forms in collaboration with the District Manager in charge of the CRLP-OM for proper Cash for Work (CFW) distribution.
Responsibilities:
- SO should mobilize the targeted communities according to the CRLP Operations Manual (OM).
- SO is responsible for filling out the digital payment questioner form for biometric process.
- In close coordination with the District Manager the SO should facilitate the process of mobilization, election, wellbeing analysis, door to door survey for accurate data collection and beneficiary selection.
- In close coordination with the District Manager the SO should organize and implement overall the CRLP component, eligible beneficiary selection and cash for work distribution.
- The SO is responsible for assisting communities for preparing community development plan (CDP) and bank accounts.
- Awareness for CRGs/Sub-committees including male/female regarding decision making that how to priorities and complete the projects.
- Perform the liaising role between communities, District Manager, Lead Social Organizer and provincial team to ensure all activities are running according to the OM Manual.
- The SO has to be clear and concise while communicating with the targeted beneficiary and conduct the training sessions on the local language.
- The SO is responsible for delivering transparency and accountability awareness to CRGs and Sub-committees according to the CRLP OM.
- In close coordination with District Manager the SO should resolve any dispute and local conflict related to CRLP project activities.
- The SO should understand and realize the community needs and priorities and upgrading their capacity building.
- SO should assist and facilitate CRGs/Subcommittees/Beneficiaries in documents preparation and filling out CRLP related forms.
- The SO helps CRGs/Sub-committees for all main points to upgrade community awareness regarding the CRLP related component according to the CRLP OM.
- In close coordination with the Lead Social Organizer the SO should conduct the training sessions for CRGs/Sub-committees which have been scheduled in CRLP OM.
- For close supervision of the ongoing activities the SO should be able to travel to the relevant project sites.
- The SO should send his/her monthly progress report to District Manager, Lead Social Organizer.
- The holder of this position must strictly follow the organization’s existing security policies, procedures and daily instructions of the safety personnel.
- Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree for male and 14 class graduates for Female bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience (Experience in NSP /CAAP projects is preferred)
